Comprehensive Annual Financial Reports

This report is presented as required by the Arizona Revised Statutes A.R.S. §41-725 and includes a comprehensive report of the District’s finances. Each year, state and local governments produce a financial report that follows the accounting and financial reporting standards set by the Government Accounting Standards Board (GASB). This report, known as the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR), was previously referred to as the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report. While many are familiar with the budget, which outlines planned expenses, the ACFR provides an overview of actual spending and the current state of assets and liabilities at the end of the fiscal year.

District Spending Report

Official Arizona School District Spending Reports are prepared yearly by the State of Arizona Office of the Auditor General, which are created in response to the Arizona Revised Statutes §41-1279.03 requirement to determine the percentage of every dollar Arizona school districts spend in the classroom.
