Welcome to the Phoenix Union Legal Services Department

The Phoenix Union Legal Services Department was launched in May of 2021. The Legal Services Department supports the Superintendent and School District staff in serving the educational needs of students in a legally compliant manner and ensuring to protect the District’s interest as it relates to legal matters. The Legal Services Department is under the direction of Eileen D. Fernandez, General Counsel.  

The Legal Service Department supports the District by handling the following matters: 

• Title IX

• Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)

• Contracts

• Public Records Request 

• Legal Forms
