Magnet Programs

One program that sets Phoenix Union High School District apart from every other school district in Arizona is its extensive Magnet program. There are 11 Magnet programs at six campuses, available to all students who reside within the District boundaries. Created in 1985 in response to a desegregation order, these specialized magnets feature the most innovative education resources available, as well as university, community college and industry support. From the prestigious International Baccalaureate program to Metro Tech's four-year Career and Technical Education, Phoenix Union's Magnet programs offer unparalleled educational opportunities based on students' interests and talents.
